Kitchen cook wanted in Lawrence County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Lawrence County, Indiana. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
