Immediate opening: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Chenango County, New York. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. Your main tasks: • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls You should have: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Full-time with occasional weekends.
