Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Scurry County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Day to day you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
