UPVC welding machine operator — Lawrence County

Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Day-to-day duties: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile 1+ years on the tools preferred.
