Sewing machine operator — Carlisle County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Carlisle County, Kentucky. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown The role involves press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
