Pipe lagger — Suffolk County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Suffolk County, New York. You will work at an industrial plant. You will seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations. Ideal candidate: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Willing to travel between sites Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided.
