Safety marshal — Lere

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety marshal in Lere, Kaduna State. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training The role involves take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action.
