Power float operator — Spencer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Spencer County, Kentucky. The job is on a road and bridge project. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Your main tasks: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
