Tiling assistant — Multnomah County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Multnomah County, Oregon. You will be based on a commercial fit-out project. Day-to-day duties: • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Part-time with flexible hours. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
