Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Robertson County, Texas. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
