Stamping press operator — Clinton County

Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Clinton County, Michigan. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
