Laundry presser — Cherokee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Cherokee County, North Carolina. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; give each garment a final press before packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
