Gang bricklayer • Grayson County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Grayson County, Virginia. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Day-to-day duties: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
