Immediate opening: offshore rigger (Nevada)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Lyon County, Nevada. You will be based at a shipyard. You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
