Join our team: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Taylor County, Iowa. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code 4+ years on the tools preferred.
