Great opportunity: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Iron County, Michigan. You will work at a busy glazing workshop. Requirements: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Able to cut glass accurately to size The role involves read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
