Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Full-time with occasional weekends.
