Immediate opening: pipe tig welder (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Guadalupe County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Pay around $32 per hour, based on your experience.
