Vacancy available: packaging machine operator (Vermont)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Franklin County, Vermont. You will work in a packaging factory. Day-to-day duties: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Rotating shifts.
