Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Charles City County, Virginia. You will work at a busy bakery. The role involves: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
