We are recruiting: crawler crane operator (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Caroline County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Part-time with flexible hours.
