Elevator technician • Eilean Siar, Scotland

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Eilean Siar, Scotland. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
