Earthmoving equipment operator — Talbot County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Talbot County, Maryland. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. Day-to-day duties: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse Requirements: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Meals and transport allowance provided.
