Scaffolding charge hand — Linn County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Linn County, Iowa. You will work on an industrial refinery shutdown. You should have: • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns On a typical shift you will set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
