Panel welder — Tooele County

Join our team: we are hiring a panel welder in Tooele County, Utah. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances 1+ years on the tools preferred.
