Great opportunity: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Hamilton County, Iowa. The job is on a busy domestic building site. The role involves skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge. You should have: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Full-time with occasional weekends.
