Nursery worker — Unuimo

Great opportunity: we are hiring a nursery worker in Unuimo, Imo State. The job is in a botanical garden. On a typical shift you will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds. What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Pay around ₦100,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
