Dry lining plasterer • Surrey, England

Now hiring: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Surrey, England. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. Day to day you will apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings. You should have: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
