Rigging foreman — Monterey County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Monterey County, California. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
