Machine operator (earthworks) — Hardy County

Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Hardy County, West Virginia. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. You should have: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Day to day you will lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
