You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
