Meat cutter — Davison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat cutter in Davison County, South Dakota. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. On the job you will handle: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Season and marinate meat on request • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
