Mining dozer operator — Ohio County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Ohio County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
