Foundry operative wanted in Hamilton County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Hamilton County, Texas. The job is on the moulding line. Day-to-day duties: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
