We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Galveston County, Texas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
