Gas commissioning technician — Page County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Page County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
