Precision welder — Navarro County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Navarro County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 5+ years on the tools preferred. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
