Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Day-to-day duties: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
