Refrigeration installation technician • Chugach Census Area, Alaska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Chugach Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a food processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge You should have: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
