Immediate opening: lathe programmer-operator (Maine)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Hancock County, Maine. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. The role involves load and index turning tools in the turret; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Six days a week, one day off.
