Immediate opening: foundry worker (Minnesota)

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Nicollet County, Minnesota. Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
