Chiller technician — Cherokee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a chiller technician in Cherokee County, Alabama. The job is on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. You will trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; clean condenser and evaporator coils; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch. What we are looking for: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
