Gtaw welder — Potter County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Potter County, South Dakota. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day-to-day duties: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
