Cake decorator — Galveston County

Join our team: we are hiring a cake decorator in Galveston County, Texas. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills 1+ years on the tools preferred.
