Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork erector in Decatur County, Kansas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
