Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Wilbarger County, Texas. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Full-time with occasional weekends.
