Stitching operator — Ibiono Ibom

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Ibiono Ibom, Akwa Ibom State. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
