Immediate opening: vacuum press operator (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in South Gloucestershire, England. Day-to-day duties: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
