Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Nottoway County, Virginia. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
