Immediate opening: cnc turning machinist (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Brazos County, Texas. The job is at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Full-time, day shift.
